Hi Everyone:
I am a new user to ACAD Mech 2009 and have searched the forums and did not find a suitable response to my issue. I have created dynamic blocks of pipe fittings such as 45 deg elbow and 90 deg elbow of different sizes. I have also created dynamic blocks of different sizes of pipe lengths. The dynamic blocks of elbows show the centerline of the fitting. Now when I go to new drawing and insert the 90 elbow (or 45 elbow), they insert just fine. I can also insert the pipe block just fine. I am able to select the size of the fitting and the pipe I want. When I try to align the pipe to the fitting, this is where I am having a problem. The pipe aligns itself to the face of the fitting just fine, however, when I approach the center line in the face of the fitting (to perfectly align the pipe to the fitting) the pipe instantly rotates 90 deg and aligns itself to the centerline, thereby being perpendicular to the face of the fitting.
Any ideas as to what I can do to alleviate this issue.
