I followed the link you provided and got the english version of the fix. I loaded it and ran it following everything to the letter. It called for me to also manually delete files in certain folders which I did as well. I still get the same error message no matter what I do. I contacted my reseller who has been working with Autodesk. I ran the file that Autodesk sent me as well (registry-pruner-setup.exe) with still the same error code (error 25001)showing up when I try to install raster design. What else can I possibly do to get raster design to work?? I'm running out of options. Thank-you.

The technical document indicates that a product or products
were install, and or uninstalled in the incorrect order.
The problem is that even when one uses the uninstall option
vestiges are left in the registry.
And now that yours is completely trashed by Windows, and AutoDesk's
products, you get to finish the job.

You will need to open your registry file and delete ALL entries
of anything and everything AutoDesk, AutoCAD, Raster, etc.
When all is deleted reboot, and then reinstall the products in the
correct order.

Hi

Have you looked (browsed) at the following thread -

Have a good one, Mike

I have tried all that has been posted here with always the same result. The error 25001! I went to the link posted (Autodesk "remove all Autodesk software products from system to ensure clean installation" and followed it to the letter. I installed AutoCAD 2005 and then went to install Raster Design and up came the error message, again. I cannot believe that Autodesk would not address this problem with an easier solution. I believe the only thing I can do at this point is to re-install Windows XP.

Is raster design still showing in your "Add/Remove Programs" under control panel? If so check out How to Manually Remove Programs from the Add/Remove Programs List (http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?kbid=247501). I had a similar problem and this fixed it.

Your Fancy Link is missing the WWW, so it reports an error.

I followed the link, printed out the page and followed the directions for manually removing the program. The program "Raster Design 2005" does not show up in the registry (after clicking several hundred registry keys) but it still shows up in the add/remove programs from the control panel. AutoCAD and DWF viewer show up but not Raster Design. But, I do not have the option of deleting Raster Design anymore because a person from an AutoCAD reseller sent me this executable file - ptpruner.exe - and after I ran the executable, I no longer had the option of deleting the Raster Design program from the add/remove program on the control panel. It just shows the program name but does not have the area to click on to remove the program any more.

It's probably using some weird code like mine. Mine is {D8E1165F-F5A9-4915-AC4F-A34E70BDD0AA}.
