Breaking intersecting lines

I am using Autocad 2008 is there a command that will break intersecting lines automaticaly with a set break space? I am working on piping drawings and I want all my breaks to have the same break space.

First, please note that you have posted in the AutoSketch forum, not one of the many AutoCAD ones. For the future, you will get better responses by posting in an appropriate forum.

Anyway, there is no in-built tool to do what you want. I snap a circle to the line intersection and use that to Trim one of the lines. You could use a lisp routine to automate the process.
