Surface Analysis Volume

I've got a surface of an existing infiltration basin that I need stage storage numbers for. I used the surface analysis type, Elevations to perform this task. This gave me the area between each elevation in a legend or table format. I edited the table to produce a volume. I can't seem to figure out what this volume is refering to. Is it fill or cut? After doing some end area calculations using the areas produced from the analysis, the volumes do not correlate to a fill. I can't find anything in Help to give me an answer.

I suspect what you are looking for is the Stage Storage Extension, which must be downloaded from Autodesk's subscription support center.

It doesn't give exactly the right numbers, though, as it ignores everything below your lowest contour.
