Need a routine for creating a single line diagram

I work for a fire alarm company & we are in need of a routine that we can use to select a circuit and then create a single line diagram that is easier for the fire dept. to read and verify addressing and device counts against. If anyone knows a routine that could help I would appreciate the help.

It would help if you could post up a before and after example drawing and then maybe some code sould be rendered to give the output you are expecting
