Summary: I wish that the massing and modeling tools had functionality similar to Sketch-Up and AutoCAD.

Description: I wish that the massing tools had functionality similar to Sketch-Up and AutoCAD. Add the ability to automatically align planes, show dimensions, allow objects to be moved in the Z-plane while in 3D views. Add the ability to apply different colors or materials to each mass. Add a transparency control to each individual mass. Maybe consider a Sketch-up plug-in for Revit that simply nests all the tools from sketch-up!

How Used: Add the ability to automatically align planes, show dimensions, allow masses to be moved in the Z-plane while in 3d-views. Add the ability to apply different colors or materials to each mass. Add a transparency control to each individual mass. Maybe consider a Sketch-up plug-in for Revit that simply nests all the tools from sketch-up!

Add the ability to apply different colors or materials to each mass. Add a transparency control to each individual mass.

You can do both of these already.

Perhaps an interesting feature would be the ease of the "Push and Pull" technique Sketchup has without having to fully go into sketch mode of the given form.

For example, being able to "draw" lines on the object and then just pull out the extrusion.

yes, AutoCAD added push/pull grips similar to sketchup, Revit should have the same sort of grips.
