LT98 - Status bar at bottom of screen not visible

Dears,
I have AutoCAD LT98, the status barre at the bottom of the screen is not visible. How can I get this barre ? I there a system variable which could activate/desactivate it ?

Hi

Do you mean the Co-Ordinate area is greyed out OR the complete Status Bar is not visible?

If Co-Ordinate are is greyed out, refer to the following Technical Document on the Autodesk web site under the Knowledge Base section -

ID: TS21201 - Coordinate values on the status bar do not update (http://usa.autodesk.com/adsk/servlet/ps/item?siteID=123112&id=2897155&linkID=2475323)

If complete Status Bar is not visible, trying changing the monitors resolution to a higher value (the Status Bar might currently be hiding off the screen).
