Okay, so after 10+ years of using plain autocad, I am making the switch to the inventor suite. problem is that I will have to use Mechanical for a while til a lot of things are switched and jobs are completed.
Here is the issue I am running into, I have to cope a beam around another beam and add some parts to it, how do you do this without exploding the beam from the content center. or is that possible, I would like to use the BOM generator, but if this beam is exploded does it still show in the BOM without having to put it in manually.
