I have the March build 2009 (intalled during Tech Camp) currently installed and will be installing 2009.1. When going to Add/Remove Programs I noticed that NavisWorks under the list of currently installed Programs does not have either Change or Remove buttons!

I assume I need to remove Manage manualy?

Thanks

Are you a local admin on the computer? Those buttons won't appear when you are not.

Ya, as an Application Engineer we have full rights on the local and network level to help address technical issues for our users. Since I see Change/Remove buttons on the other programs in the list, I think it isn't the issue.

So I drilled into the file manager and with regedit, got rid of everything related to NavisWorks manually. Ran Registry Medic, rebooted the notebook and took a look at the Add/Remove Programs to confirm NavisWorks is gone. Guess what, the bugger is still there!

After this whole process I reinstalled from a shipping DVD and now see from the installation screen the option to uninstall 2000 before installing 2009.1. Looks like everything is working.

Looking at the Add/Remove Programs, I see that NavisWorks Manage 2009 has been removed and in it's place Autodesk NavisWorks Manage 2009 is installed and the button to Change/Remove it is there.
