Prototype setting problem

When I set up a prototype under "Point Settings" then "Insert" and "Search Path for Symbol Block Drawing Files"...when I change this folder and save it to the prototype it does not stay changed. Once I open a new drawing and use the prototype the path is reset back to ...\Symbol Manager\Company Design\. Any ideas why this is will not accept my changes??

I too have noticed this issue but have not come up with a fix. I've reported this to my Autodesk VAR as well and they too have not been able to find a fix. They were going to review this issue with Autodesk directly but I have not heard anything back yet.

For now I'm placing all symbology under the "Company Design" location until a fix is found.
