Find attached a .png file with my simple code.
I need to make a layer to be current layer.

Just a guess, but you might want to try and move the ' AddNewly.... ' line above the call to set the layer current, as the layer is not really in the database yet. If that doesn't solve it, then move the ' Commit ' line also before the call to make the layer current.
