A couple of things needed from ADSK dealing with sloped (no hub cast iron) piping:
1. Ability to rotate fittings precisely by entering degrees.
2. Input of relative coordinates to assist in moving pipe.
3. Content which includes accurate fitting dimensions - if the fittings are BIM, have them accurately reflect the ASTM standards.
4. Pipe which automatically installs couplings at specified maximum intervals and adjustments of the piping length for scheduling since piping "inside" couplings (with real length represented).
5. Program should allow fitting-to-fitting connections if space allows rather than automatically require a section of piping between fittings.
6. Snaps that work in 3d fine display.
