A couple of renderings of a French Country home that I designed. Comments and suggestions are always welcome.

Nice work.
My only comment is that your 2nd image looks a little dark. If you are trying a dusk shot, I'd put a light in the pool. If that's not what you're going for, I'd try to lighten up the sky background a little bit. Just kinda looks gloomy to me.
Just my 2 cents, keep up the great work.

I agree with the you about the darkness. Both images were shot at the same time of day (I think around 10-11 am). I'm planning on doing the back again with some afternoon sun which should lighten it up. Thanks for the comments!

Here is the back of the house rendered at a different time of day.

That does look better. I saw that the other version was darker but thought since the front has the sun hitting it, the back must be in full shadow. This one looks nicer.
How did you get the ripples in the water?

I found a really nice water bump map that I used for the ripples.

I'm unnable to create a material "water" from within ACA 2008 (metric) like the one you have in this beatifull and expressive rendering of yours. Could you show me the settings for this material, for use in swimming pools?

Search for a "water bump map" through your search engine (google, yahoo, etc.) Search through the "images" tab and not the "web" tab. Find one you like, then right click and save it. In AutoCad, create a new material, and set the template material to "water". Check the bump map box and browse for the water bump map that you saved. You may have to adjust the scale of the map to get the desired look. Hope this helps.

I'm on the way. This was a resource I did not know. Great hint.
