I recently posted a message on the Vlisp formum and got back a nice replay how to isolate some layers. (Turn all off except for a few picked by users)

I want to try and learn VBA. I was wondering if anyone has an isolate routine in VBA. I could then compare the differences and the similarities.

Thanks,
Tim

Hi Tim

Apologies for the edit, hopefully it makes sense.

Just to make it a little easier for people arriving here to offer some help, below is a link to Tim's Layer Isolate thread in the AutoLISP (http://forums.augi.com/forumdisplay.php?f=91) Forum -

I hate to derail you, but I just wrote two articles in the current and last issue of AUGIWorld that did just that. It was on Attribute Editing and has the advantage of the same guy writing both the LISP and the VBA code. (If someone posted VBA code for your request, it might vary greatly from the LISP code you are attempting to compare it to.)

Yes, I read you articles and even sent you an email. I thought they were great. That is why I thought I would try something else like the isolate layers.

I was just wondering what someone else who uses VBA would come up with for an isolate layer command. I believe your article dealt with attributes.

Thanks.
