Summary: Make Pin Position completely lock down pinned objects to prevent them flexing when adjoining objects change. Warn users copying pinned objects.

Description: Make Pin Position completely lock down pinned objects to prevent them flexing when adjoining objects change. Warn users copying pinned objects.

How Used: Once an object is pinned I don't want it to change at all without unpinning it.

Revit tries its best to think how edges of walls / floors etc interact and seldom gets it right when considering angular or curved forms.

Editing a floor (say) should not allow Revit to have a go at moving / extending adjacent un-linked pinned walls / floors. Presently it does.

Feature Affinity: Other

This should also apply to existing walls that try to "cleanup" with walls in New Construction

In fact, New walls should never be able to move an Existing wall. It just doesn't make sense that changing an object in a future phase influences the position of an object in a previous phase.

I totally agree! This is a HUGE hurdle toward 4D design. Not that this is hard to implement but rather that it is quite impossible to predict HOW, if a modification in a future phase does affect older phases, the software whould handle the modification.
