Does anyone have a way of being able to select one pipe at say a 6' elevation and then selecting another pipe and matching the elevation?? Perhaps a lisp routine is in order here.
I find myself always trying to line up pipes before I connect them and they're always a 1/6" or 3" off here or there. Match Properties doesn't work. Might have to dig through the ole folder 'o lisp routines..

You may need to be careful of any LISP routines when working on connected pipe systems.
If the pipes are not connected to other pipes, simply select them and change the elevation property in the Properties palette.

That's what I'm doing now Robert but, when you're dealing with centerlines of pipe and you're trying to make the bottoms of pipe line up, the math makes my head hurt..
I miss my Revit MEP.. Align.. mmm nice.. Hmm, haven't tried that on pipes yet though..

... trying to make the bottoms of pipe line up, the math makes my head hurt. The adjust elevation grips accommodate both top of and bottom of elevations. The big negative with the elevation grip is that sometimes you need to have the floor elevation in the view in order to get all the grips.
