Sort of..
What i do is:
There is a color/texture style for various knurls..
I'll select the face of the part that is to be knurled.
RMB and change that face's color to the Knurled one..

The only waht it will show up on the IDW is when the view is color..

Oh yeah,
If you want it to be actual solid modeled knurl you can make a work plane tangent to the face. and make a sketch of the knurl lines, and use the Emboss feature.
I never could get it to turn out exactly right, But it does at least somewhat lok like knurl..

Hope any of this helps you

Hi there,

You want just cosmetic feature of knurl or geometric feature.

If u want Cosmetic feature
Go to Format,style editor, colors,
then click on new, give some name say Knurl,
go to texture choose appropriate knurl texture, and then save.

click on model and RMB go for property choose knurl texture than ok.

If u want geometric knurl feature then u shoukd follow as rosterreicher instruction..

Hope this work.

Draw a square profile coil and mirror it making sure you use boolean CUT within the coil command dialogue.
