We are in the US, working with an engineering company in Egypt, passing the same drawing back and forth (which is in metric units).
When we use the LABCOOR lisp routine, our coordinates come up completely different than when the engineering firm uses the LABCOOR lisp. We get N/E coordinates with 5 digit whole numbers, while they get X/Y coordinates with completely different 6 digit whole numbers. However, if we click on the point in the drawing, properties shows the same numbers they get, leading us to believe there's something skewed in our lisp file.
Although we aren't savvy with lisp programming, we would like to at least compare the two files to see if the programming language is different, but have been unable to get them to send the lisp file.
Any help understanding this??? Is there a difference between imperial coords and metric coords? We are using AutoCAD 2009, don't know which Autodesk product they are using.
