Hello,

Using MDT2004 SP3 on Win2k.

When I use 3d-->holes I loose sight of my cursor for picking edges or surfaces.

Once I finally select an edge with much effort, then my location cursor appears.

Why did my cursor diss-aperar?

Yeah Id like to know that too. I had that same problem.

i had that problem as soon i installed sp3. i went back sp2 and the problem went away. there's some sort of conflict with the video card/driver and sp3. never found out what though. bought a new system and never had that problem again either.

did you try changing the color of your back ground. i had that problem with Auto CAD Mechanical and when i changed the back ground color i could see my cursor again.
i changed mine to gray it seems to be a little easier on the eyes too.

set amseldynamic to 0 (default is 1).

I'm not sure why this happens but when I upgraded from MDT5 to 2004 DX I came across the same problem. Setting the amseldynamic system variable to 0 seemed to resolve the problem. The somewhat insignificant consequence of doing this is that the part with the desired feature will longer become highlighted when you move the cursor over it.
