When I use the camera icon, and align it perpendicular to the elevation, The rendering still adds perspective to the left/right walls on the extreme left/right sides. Is there another way/tool to render a true elevation?

Yes. Don't use a camera to create the view, instead just create a default 3D view. Then use the Oreint option on the view menu to align the 3D view to the face of something, to the settings of another view, or the generic 'west' or 'north'. Then render away, and you'll get a true elevation.

View > Orient > select Elevation or orient to " other view " or " by plane ".

Hi there,

In addition, the other benefit of rendering an oriented 3d view elevation is that you can go back after wards and add things like notes, dimensions, levels, profile lines and ground planes by overlaying 'paste aligned' edited wireframe views. I use this technique for presentations quite quickly and I really like using a black background with white lettering. It works nicely on Site and Plan views too using the same orientation controls within the 3d view option!

Good Luck
