Plug ins for classic interface

I use classic interface in navis manage (2013).
Is there a way to use plugins if you have the toolbars? I find that object manipulation and sectioning toolbars are taking less space than the ribbon and you have all you need on two rows of toolbars, I do not have to switch any panels in the ribbons.

I just started to use 2013 and on the new clash interface that Isolation combobox is driving me crazy. I switch all the time between hide other and none and there is this extra step to select from the combobox instead of a checkbox or button.
Is there a way to create a toolbar button for it?
