Annoying exclamation point
Was wondering where I go to turn off the little exclamation point that appears on ends of conduit/pipe/duct when it's not connected to a part (parametric or mvpart). It's fairly annoying especially if you insert a mvpart and it's got 12 connection points and each one has this little triangle with a exclamation point in it. Please....oh please....help...sos....oh guess i should note I'm using Autocad MEP 09
Re: Annoying exclamation point
In the View pulldown menu, uncheck 'Show Solution Tips'. That oughta do it.

Re: Annoying exclamation point
Thanks alot, it was turned off on my 08 and not on the 09 when i put it on, was driving me crazy not being able to find out where to turn it off.
Re: Annoying exclamation point
We're still on ABS07, but investigating going to AMEP 09....
If you have the "!"'s turned on...do they print out??
Or do you have to turn them off in order for them not to plot?
Re: Annoying exclamation point
Even if the !'s are on (visible), they will not print out.
Re: Annoying exclamation point
That is good news.
I have some guys who are going to use the DWG TrueView 09 program and we see many "!"'s for 07 ABS dwgs.
Thank you!
Re: Annoying exclamation point
I don't have any experience with the DWG TrueView, so I don't know if they'll show up there or not. All I know is that if you plot a drawing to paper, the !'s don't show up.
Good luck!
