Thoughts anyone.
I just got my temp license to use Solibri and will start playing with that. From what I have seen though, it looks fairly nice, a little less complex interface (although more setup required for rules) then that of Navisworks.
But about working in it, and time to review and see clashes?
Solibri will do much more checking and review than NW. You can setup a number of rules that meet your standards and run pretty fast checks against those rules. It also has the ability to check spaces, and embedded parameters in the model. You can also check your Revit model along with an ArchiCAD model and Bentley Model.
However you must use IFC and there could be issues with the Revit implementation of IFC in comparison to the other packages. Navisworks uses many more file formats than Solibri and moves much faster with large models.
I have and use both for their strengths
