3 LT upgrades = $975
3 LT Subscriptions = $555
1 Acad Subscription = under $500
2 Acad Subscrioption = under $1000
Aside from the initial upgrade cost to get to AutoCAD and the one time network license conversion, future costs for 1 network license of AutoCAD are about even or less. With 2 network licenses of AutoCAD, a little more.
It's just if the future annual costs is worth the additional functionality considering the small difference. And if so, is it worth the bigger initial price tag to get to that point.
PS: Currently there's a promotion until the 19th where you can upgrade/crossgrade from LT (2004/2005/2006 only) to AutoCAD, Inventor, just about any Autodesk product including verticals for the standard rate of $1995. One heck of a deal.

End of January is Autodesk's fiscal year end. It's most likley to help bolster their sales numbers of AutoCAD and the verticals. Prior to being on subscription or anytime I add anything major to subscription, I always try to plan it for January as I get a better deal. Unfortunately, being on subscription they're less likely to deviate from their pricing structure for subscription renewals.Quote:
