Beginner Tutorials for Robot Structural Analysis

Any resourceful literature or videos demonstrating the use of Robot Structural Analysis? I have read the Training manuals made available on the official Autodesk website but i think it lacks that component that explains the theories applied in generating solutions. Also, can Revit be used for analysis or is it just for modelling purposes?
