Raised floor construction (and what might be called laziness)
Hello again all.
I'm working on a project using raised floors (150mm above a 200mm deep structural slab). Floors, curtainwall, etc are based upon a conceptual mass.
I was lazy/working quickly at first and defined the ENTIRE floor (concrete, void, finish) in one assembly.

My hope, when cutting sections, was for the floor to be 'smart' enough to show the assembly as above. Instead the whole assembly appears as concrete.

Is it possible to define this better within one assembly... or is the 'best' practice to go back and re-define the raised floor as a separate floor (and on a different workset)?
Thanks.

And, for reference, this was probably the closest post I found: http://forums.augi.com/showthread.ph...floor-finishes
Re: Raised floor construction (and what might be called laziness)
Oh, never-mind.
My detail level was simply far too coarse (duh).
But I should still consider splitting out to individual worksets.
(Gotta make stupid mistakes sometimes)
