project information (adding in shared parameters)

I hope this is not another before holiday blackout of the mind haha, but does anyone know how to add in additional parameters in the project information. I created a border and also created additional tags in the border, the problem is that when I add that border to the job, none of the added tags are added to the project information tab. Now if I click on the border the added tags turn into question marks and cant be eddited. Am I doing something wrong? Thanks once again for the help

Setting | Project Parameters... > Add > checkmark Project Information and select your parameter
