Viewport linetypes not showing up correctly
I know, not another one. I've read so many threads on this I'm purple.
I am constantly regen'ing, redrawing, etc. The lines turn to continuous constantly. It obviously doesn't affect plotting, but it's a little annoying.
I've got my ltscale set to 1 in my model, I've got my psltscale set to 1 in all viewports
I get a continuous line in the model tab, I get sorta a dashed line in layout 1, and if I make a new layout, the dashed line is yet another dashed line that isn't the same as the first layout tab.
2008 acad.
For success, I get something what I like when I have ltscale set to 9, psltscale set to 1 in both vports, but I have to change to 0.5 ltscale in second viewport. I've got the same view in both viewports.
It's driving me bonkers. has for weeks now. I appreciate any insight.
Re: Viewport linetypes not showing up correctly
**sigh** It's always when you post the question, that you figure out a way to get it to do what you want it to do.
Not even sure how it got there now. I've got msltscale and psltscale set to 0 and ltscale set to 1, but not in both ports. Who knows what the heck is going on.
It works at least.
Re: Viewport linetypes not showing up correctly
Hi,
I had the same issues that you have described. I messed around with it for quite awhile, changing psltscale, ltscale, and msltscale which sometimes gave me the results I wanted. The permanent fix for me was applying AC2008 Service pack 1.

Re: Viewport linetypes not showing up correctly
We have msltscale 1, psltscale1, ltscale1 and set the annotation scale in modelspace to the typical viewport scale, that gets us some pretty decent looking drawings
