Re: Previous selection sets
This could be useful, but it seems like an AutoCAD rather than an ACA wish.
Re: Previous selection sets
So instead of one storage variable like SS01 that is recycled each time; there would be SS01, SS02, SS03, etc up to SS10 and the selection function would rotate through those so the previous 10 selection sets were still captured. Seems like a good idea. While it is a base level function and therefore comes from the AutoCAD main engine tool set, it is not inappropriate to request in the ACA section. If implemented, it should be applied to all flavors of AutoCAD.
Re: Previous selection sets
I used to do this with a simple 1 line lisp command if anyone is interested. You don't really need to be a programmer!
The wish has been edited. Below are the updated details.
Previous selection sets
Summary: the ability to reselect a old selection even after other selection sets have been used.
Description: Often times the user realizes too late that they need to manipulate a selection set one more time, but another function has bee performed and the selection set is lost and must be reselected. It would be nice to be able to scroll through the last ten selection sets.
