transparent objects always show through on prints, but fine on screen.

I've seen a lot of posts about mass objects and transparent objects "shining through" the objects in front of them as if their "material was always on top in front of everything. Usually on these threads they report that the views print fine but display incorrectly on screen. I'm having the opposite problem. Everything looks fine on screen, but every time I print, the transparent objects (Masses and glazing) all move to the front (except for their edges). My graphics card is up to date. Any advice?
