problem with error message 'ATTEMPTING TO END AN INVALID TRANSACTION. ID:0'

One of our draughtsman was attempting to do an update in a drawing with inventor 2011 & got a problem with error message 'ATTEMPTING TO END AN INVALID TRANSACTION. ID:0'

any help appreciated.:?
