Robot 2013 Tutorials/Training manuals
Dear all.
Does anyone know of any good training manual or tutorials for Robot 2013?
My company are looking to start utilising our dust covered copies from our building design suites however I can only find the 2010 training manual on Autodesks website.
Thanks

There is also a new book available on Robot Structural Analysis 2013 here: http://tiny.cc/RobotEssentialsa
Re: Robot 2013 Tutorials/Training manuals
For all who are working on Robot 2014, a new version of Autodesk Robot Structural Analysis Professional - Essentials is available now.
We are also working on an advanced version and would be happy to know what topics you might like to see covered in an advanced version.

Can this be effectively used with the 2015 version of the software? Or have there been too many changes? If so, is there a 2015 version in the works? Thanks!!

Hi,
Robot Structural Analysis 2014 - Essentials can definitely be used with RSA2015. There is a new version in the works which will include topics on wind simulation, the direct analysis method for AISC and possibly an additional topic or two.
Thanks for your interest!

Hi Ken,
I have been thinking about buying your book to get me started into basic structural analysis. I am an architect with a keen interest on the structural side of things. Would knowledge on the software help me get started in designing simple structures. I have engineering papers back when I studied architecture but i seriously need to revisit them and I am seriously thinking of formal studies. My question really is how does knowledge in robot (and your book would certainly help on this being one of the best resources on the subject) help me in designing structure given my limited math skills (knowing I have to refresh a lot of stuff) Thank you for your help.

The only solution is upgrading your math skills. It's very dangerous using such a software without the right math skills.
