Turn off Tooltips

I'm using ACAD2007 - - - HELP!

How do I turn off the d___n tooltips on my screen?

I used "help".

I went to: Tools - Options - Drafting - Auto Track Settings - unchecked Display Auto Track tooltip.

That didn't work nor anyother attempt. I'm so very upset.

Can anyone help get rid of those d--n tooltips?

Are you talking about the dynamic input? If so, click the DYN in your status bar, or hit F12. I think it's also under drafting settings, dynamic input tab

The F12 key was the control for turning on and off the "Tooltips" on my screen.

So, to all: the F12 key will toggle on and off the on screen tooltips - try it, you'll like it.
