Clash Detection Reporting
What is the best way to run a report?
When I write the report to HTML and then print form the HTML, the printed document cuts off images. Yes I know it is best to review clashes right from the HTML file or even the NWD file in Freedom. However, if I want to create a hard copy, what is the best, cleanest, most presentable way of doing that.
Thanks for your time
Re: Clash Detection Reporting
I think the best for now is HTML (we just use it for yellow-off, so the cut-off doesn't matter much). As I am currently tinkering with XSLT and learning some basic HTML, I am considering a couple of "enhanced reporting" options based on the XML report format. Not sure if there is a "page break" equivalent in HTML, though - that would make it difficult.
Edit: not directly, but CSS looks promising with page-break-before/after/inside properties...
Re: Clash Detection Reporting
Yeah, I can do it with CSS by diddling with the <style> element, but only manually for now. And its not practical for anything approaching a realistic sized clash report.
