Unhappy Revit 2010 - Screen Jump

When I select an object (line, wall, text, etc...) and try to used the tools : move, copy, mirror or array (by using either the shortcut keys or the icons), the drawing area jump as soon as I finish the command action. It also jump when I press the escape key.
Does any one run into the same problem and can it be fixed?

I believe I've had this problem before. Not sure what caused it. If I recall correctly, I think a reboot fixed it. Let us know if that problem persists through a restart.

I've noticed in the last two releases (2008, 09) and this one, that sometimes while editing objects in 3D view (i.e. sketch mode) that the functionality of my wheel on the mouse changes. Whereas by default the wheel is used to zoom in and out if rolled, and pan if pressed down. When the functionality changes in these situations the wheel scrolls the view up and down. This happens often, and seemingly randomly. I am not sure if that is what you are talking about, but I have determined that closing the view, and reopening it is the only way to return things to normal.

folks here and at technical support have offered me no solution, except to suggest I uninstall and reinstall either the program, or my mouse drivers, or change my mouse settings- none which fixed this randomly occuring issue.

Yes, mine jumps in Revit 2010 as well but only when using the MOVE Command.

I was able to fix the problem in Revit 2008 and 2009 by making the screen I was using Revit on my "Primary Monitor." Unfortunately this doesn't fix the problem for 2010.

Using NVIDIA Quadro FX 1700 graphics card.

In addition to the primary monitor, redocking everything sometimes works (project browser, ribbons, etc).

Hey mine does this when I'm working on a second monitor.

when I'm on the laptop, It never happens, when I plug a bigger monitor into the laptop, I get the jumping issue. In the past i found updating the video drivers helped..

When it did this with R2009, I had to roll back my video driver. With 2010, nothing seems to fix it yet. other than resizing my revit window to be the same size as my main monitor . ie making it smaller on the second monitor.

i'll check tonight on what version I'm on, and with what updates. and also my vid processor.

    Lou,
I just had this problem with the screen jumping in a vertical direction whenever I selected or released an object.
I thought it was graphic driver related, but then realised it was multiple bars in the command options appearing - i.e. the area below the ribbon where command options are displayed.
If you right-click on this area and choose the option "Dock at Bottom" it might be a good workaround in the short term.

    Hi,
I have a bit of screen flash always when doing a normal save and a few other tasks in win 7, x64, Quadro driver 258.49 the only one so far for Win 7 and this older card which otherwise is fine.
I managed to reduce the flash effects by turning off Direct 3D acceleration.
