Default Framinf Elevation of Stud Wall

I'm trying to show the studs in a framing elevation so that I can illustrate some special bracing requirements and a buried column/beam. I would like this modeled rather than just draw it with detail lines. Is there a way to do this.

    Many thanks in advance,
    Denis

You can certainly create framing elements, then use walls just for the finishes. You might also want to check out a cool tool from StrucSoft Solutions called Metal-Wood Framer (MWF)
