Default DB to create staggered rows

I've made a db to create a tile pattern which has every other row staggered (attached), however, this only allows me to have an even number of rows. Is there another way to make it so that it can have an odd number of rows as well? Thanks.

have you thought of using an associated hatch where the coursing parameter is set to "increment" to match the pattern distance? the horizontal stretch could be anything....
Sometimes, i get lost in my own thoughts and need to ask directions to find my way back.

ok, i will find myself guilty for not knowing what i'm talking about. i assumed you were talking about a "running bond" tile pattern, not an 'accent' tile pattern.

only thing i can think of that would work for you would be to use a lookup for the rows (would have to use a linear parameter for each tile independantly)

this way, all you'd have would be the horizontal grip.

Chris, thanks for the reply, but I have a bit of trouble understanding what you mean However I've come up with an idea which works for me - I've attached it in case anyone's interested, or can improve on it,
