    Default SPARE circuits

How to denote spare ciruits in the panel schedule with standard 20A circuit breakers? Thanks.

Click on a panel click on the "edit circuits on panel" button on the options bar. Click on a circuit where you want the spare to be, has to already have something circuited on it already(dumb I know, if there isn't something circuited on it then click on a circuit already used and move re-arrange after). Then click on "Insert" it will place a 20A breaker with no name and you can type "spare" or whatever you want.

Can you add a 3-pole spare circuit?

I do not believe you can add a 3-pole spare... I would suggest adding 3 single poles and in the circuit description put your intent...

    1st breaker - 3-pole spare
    2nd breaker - --------------
    3rd breaker - --------------
