    Default Layer Mangement

    Afternoon all,

Does anyone know how to "lock" onto a single layer to draw? I like to use a "CONSTRUCTION LINES" layer in magenta that stands out. I'd like to keep this layer current while I am isolating back and forth with different layers. Any help people?

    Thanks for any response.

    -Lawrence

Easiest way I can think of is, be on that layer (construction lines), and when isolating your layers, pick "construction lines" first, and you will still be on that layer and it will be on.

There is a LISP routine called LayerDirector. Allows you to set layer by default or command (auto sets a layer for line command or text command...) Very handy. I found it in the featured apps. I think it's free.
