Default Thin Lines / Thick Lines

Is there a way to set the Thin Line command to default on instead of Thick Lines? Either 2009 or 2010 or both.

I've not heard of any methodology to do so. Since it is not "persistent", it is not stored in the Revit.ini file. I don't know where to access this otherwise. Sorry.

Revit is built on the idea of WYSIWYG. I only toggle thin lines when I'm zoomed in real close and the normal-weight lines are starting to bleed together, and I need to dimension or reference a particular line in a wall structure for example.

The new ribbon has really pushed me towards more shortcut keys and TL is pretty easy.

One advantage I have found of wysiwyg thick lines being enabled by default is that it warns you off doing fiddly little details which will be just smudges of ink at the scale being worked - say 1:50 - when I turn it off I always find myself adding too much detail
