Hi there, has anyone else had any problems printing images in revit 2010 yet?
Autodesk has a fix for this, I believe, but we won't see it until WU1.
Yes I've got the same problem. Autodesk better get there act together and release WU1 soon so that I can approve the deployment throughout our company.
I use png garphic files for my presentation which now does not print and on top of it all my logo is also a graphic file which know does not print. Its a disaster!!! Come on Autodesk fix this problem pronto!
I have same problem with image files not printing directly from Revit 2010. My workaround right now is to create PDF or DWF files. Then send those to the printer. Just sucks.
We have images in our titleblock that don't show up in Print Preview, but do come out on the actual prints.
I thought it was me, because just yesteday I noticed my key map (google map jpeg) didn't print, then my rendering placed on a sheet didn't print using vector settings. So I switched to raster printing but didn't like what it did to some lines (especially angle lines). So I deleted the rendering and put in a perspective view and went back to vector. Yeah, nice new release. So instead of a better set of drawings, they are inferior. Not sure what I will do with the key map.....crayons????
LOL,
John
I have the same problem... Only it will not print a .JPG in a floor plan, or a sheet.
TEMPORARY FIX:
Manually enable RASTER instead of VECTOR processing in the settings tab.
Apparently Revit 2010 has issues detecting when and when not to use RASTER processing.
We had a similar problem printing to pdf (we use AdobePDF.) Logo images in our titleblocks print fine, but any images actually on sheets (regardless of their size) would not print.
Our workaround involves not only printing raster, but also reducing the dpi of the pdf. Doesn't look as good as we would like, but at least something comes through!
