Default Revit Structure to Revit Architecture link question

If I have a Revit Structure model with a Architecture Model linked in then is it possible (when I send it back to the Architect) to send him the updated version of my model with his just turned off? If not then that means that I must unload the Architects model before I send it back? Also, I've dumped a model into ACAD in the past and know that if you turn certain things off before dumping then they will not show up in ACAD. Does this also stand true for Revit model linking? Thanks

You do not have to unload the architects model before you send your model back. I assume the architects model is linked into your model from a folder on your computer or server so the architect will not be able to see that link when they get your structural model.

    To add to this:

Your Architectural file link should be "overlayed" and not "attached" and the architects should do the same with your structural model.

I currently have it linked in which is why I believed that it would not transfer back to the Architect, I just wasn't sure. Thanks for the replies.
Do you know whether turning off certain parts of the model before sending would result in an incomplete model or would the Architect still get the entire model?

They will get the the same file you are using....when linked, they will not be able to view your 2d objects (lines) unless they were drawn as model lines. They will control your linked model through visability graphics in the same manner that you control theirs (by host model settings or custom)

they can however open your model on its own and view everything that you have (sections, details, notes etc).
