I export sheets from Revit to Acad and I want to have the viewport borders hidden... Of course I know that I can open the dwg file and freeze the layer but I'm wondering if there is a setting in Revit that can hide this.

Hi dpasa
I have my dwg export settings set up so viewports export to the layer defpoints. This means they don't print out in the dwg.

That kind of works, But the original question is if that layer (regardless of the name of the layer) can already be turned off, instead of having to open each file and turn it off.
Turnoff the View Crop Region in Revit before you export to DWG. But u need to do that for each individual view on a sheet.
You can also get to layer properties within Revit and turn on and off layers within each imported DWG. I believe it is in the visibility graphics dialogue box, or properties for imported drawings. (sorry, trying to remember this off the top of my head). It shows the drawing name with a "+" sign next to it, click it and it shows you all the layers of a file.
I'm trying to do just that, buy can't find the category fo viewports in the export layer options, can you help me please!
