    Default Linked Revit Files

On a recent project MEP/FP was separated so that plumbing had its own file. This was due to the fact that the file was getting large and some people began complaining of reduced speed in the file. However this is now causing a problem because electrical cannot pick up their equipment since it is now linked into our ME/FP file. Is it possible to combine these files back into one file? Or does anyone have any other solutions we can consider. Thanks

    Default Re: Linked Revit Files

To merge the files, simply select the plumbing link and hit "Bind" from the options bar. If you want to keep them separate, you can copy/paste the plumbing components from the plumbing file into the ME file; or you can place connectors on the linked plumbing components in the ME file.
