    While this seems great on the surface you missed one important detail...this gives the element id for the geometry of the object, not the object itself. Give it try, select the element id in Revit...it selects that id, but no object is selected, which makes this not useful. This goes back to this thread about Navisworks only using the geometry in clash detective and not the objects

    This problem is still not resolved. Using Navisworks 2013.
