    Default Locating ghost import symbols

Our file is getting caught up while opening on some import symbol .dwg's. I am unable to find them anywhere in the drawing. How do I locate them so that I can delete them. They are not in manage links, or show up under Vis Graphics anywhere. Revit Arch 2009 if it makes a difference.

    Go to a Site Plan
    Zoom All to Fit
    Import an test cad file
Select it, right click, and select all instances
with sunglasses tool at bottom of screen, select isolate category

do any other imports show up?

    try this in other views---

problem is that the cad got imported, not linked--so it does not show up in Mange Links.
and probably imported into ALL views!!!!!!!!!!! This is a bad problem--and we ALWAYS link
cad into Revit instead of impoting only.

    LOL

    cheers.....

I will try that, as for best practices we try here too, but on occasion someone forgets.
