    Default Weatherboard cladding

I'm sure this has been asked and answered before but I had a quick search of the forums and couldn't find anything.

Anyway how do you make render materials like weatherboards etc. for exterior claddings that look realistic?

Do you just need to find decent jpeg images to load into the render materials section?

    Any help would be great!

Yes you could do the Jpeg material map thing, or you could create a stacked wall with the weatherboard cladding. It depends on the level of detail your aiming for...

I do lots of Weatherboard cladded buildings and I created my Weatherboard material based on an included in the Revit library JPG. See pictures for explanations and examples.
