Default Why Can I not 'Pre-Select' copyclip items

    I am running Acad 2007

In the past, on this machine, I have been able to select items and then hit Ctrl + C or Ctrl + SHift + C to use copy clip, copy base or properties

Autocad is now requiring to enter these command 1st, is there a reason or a fix for this?

Update - Using Icons or regular keystrokes for these commands work fine just no Ctrl + Commands.

    Solution:
    Set Variable QAFLAGS to 0

    Thank you in advance,
    Andre

Sounds like Rule #1... make sure PICKFIRST is set to 1

    Hope that helps

I knew about PICKFIRST, however I did double check. PICKFIRST is set to 1. Thanks for the help so far.

Thanks for the thoughts thus far.

Your noun/verb selection box in the selection tab of Options dialog box is not checked, maybe?

    That is PICKFIRST, checked = 1, unchecked = 0.

What version / vertical are you using? Any customizations which may have interfered with the COPYCLIP command? Does the same thing happen with other commands?
