Default Creating editable text within "View Titles"

I am trying to create custom view titles for braced frame elevations and detail views. I have been able to get most of it to work out the way I want it to, but I cannot figure out how to add or create editable text within the title. I want to be able to create a text field that can be edited on the fly without changing the family. I have attached a couple of pics to help with the explanation. As you can see, the “Looking East” text is what I want to be editable and it changes from frame to frame. Also on details, on occasion, we address similar details with minor changes with “at detail 1A” notes and so on. This is another text field that I would like to be editable. Again, I have attached a pic to better explain. Please respond with any guidance as what to do. Thank you.

Another unfortunate limitation with these system families.
Parameters can not be mapped to view titles (only views). This means that any variable must be type driven. This also affects spot elevations which makes them very cumbersome.

Hopefully someone else can provide a nifty workaround until Autodesk gives us a bit more control regarding system families.
