problems moving a piping system

I have created a piping system for a bathoom but the architect change de model a little. My problem its that I am unable to grab the whole system and move it. Its any reason why revit MEP can't not move a selected group of pipes, fitting and fixtures?

It's because it's relationship to other elements i.e.. Vertical/Horizontal. Are any elements locked to any planes? Disconnect any connections to fixtures and or risers. Another option is Disjoin. Fun, isn't it?

Is this really the only way? I have an entire building that I have to change now that the Architect moved everything.

You can try and make the elements a group. Move the group and un-group.
